Job Summary

The Administrative Tech - BGC reflects the mission vision and values of NM adheres to the organizations Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program and complies with all relevant policies procedures guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

Works cooperatively with the clinical staff and other personnel to provide basic monitoring and care for patients within the legal scope of practice.  Assists in data collection provides input into the plan of care/care profile reinforces teaching and documents care delivered.

Responsibilities:

  • Works cooperatively with the clinical staff and other personnel to provide basic monitoring and care for patients within the legal scope of practice. 
  • Assists in data collection provides input into the plan of care/care profile reinforces teaching and documents care delivered.  
  • Screen and evaluate requests for service.  
  • Perform and record routine technical tasks such as vital signs and obtainment of height and weight.  
  • Perform client education under proper supervision.  
  • Manage psychiatrists caseload through identification and closing of applicable cases; ensuring that comps and treatment plans are in compliance with applicable policies and Rule 132.  
  • Perform client case transfers.  
  • Organize and manage appropriate client medication paperwork.  
  • Participate in all case management functions as directed by Supervisor.  
  • Explains to each patient the procedure about to be performed.  
  • Promptly responds to patients needs.  
  • Seeks guidance and direction from appropriate personnel as necessary for the successful and safe completion of job duties.  
  • Assist with managing physician schedules as assigned.  
  • Triage phone calls retrieve charts related to applicable phone calls and routing them to appropriate personnel.  
  • Interact as appropriate with pharmacies or other health care providers by phone or fax.  
  • Assist in maintaining exam rooms in a clean and orderly manner.  
  • Prepare doctor charts.  
  • Prepare all ITPs as indicated to maintain compliance for medication monitoring clients.  
  • Manage sample medications and interact with drug representatives as needed to maintain adequate supplies.  
  • Check in all sample medications.  
  • Prepare/type letters or other correspondence as indicated by medical staff.  
  • Participate in quarterly medication inventory.  
  • Maintain medical equipment kits/first aid kits.  
  • Maintain a minimum of 65% productivity to be split between direct service and administrative.  
  • Maintain 100% UM/UR compliance.  
  • Maintain 100% documentation submission within 24 hours.

Qualifications :

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of CNA course

Preferred:

  • CNA experience
  • Clerical experience
