Job Summary

As a member of the Creative Strategy team at Pedestrian youll sit at the intersection of culture creativity and commercial impact. Reporting to the Creative Strategy Lead youll work alongside our industry-leading Studio team to design media partnerships and culturally fluent campaigns that stand out.

Day to day you will:

  • Deconstruct Briefs: Use creative curiosity to identify strategic goals and build solutions that align with our unique audience.
  • Pitch & Present: Use your elite writing and presentation skills to communicate a vision that ensures Pedestrian stands apart in a pitch environment.
  • Design Ecosystems: Build integrated campaigns across the full ecosystem: site social video TV OOH events and newsletters.
  • Be Chronically Online: Stay deep in cultural research and social feeds to ensure our campaigns are market-leading and relevant.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with Commercial Editorial and Production teams to execute visions while preserving editorial integrity.
  • Own the Numbers: Confidently cost and scope bespoke ideas balancing creative ambition with commercial viability.

Qualifications :

  • Experience: Proven experience in a creative/strategy-focused role in media or advertising.
  • Writing Chops: You cut the bullsh*t and have amazing attention to detail.
  • Lateral Thinking: Youre a curator who isnt afraid to zig when others zag.
  • Pitch Prowess: Youre confident presenting all the way up to the C-suite.
  • Cultural Intel: You always have a hot take on whats trending among young Australians.
  • Flexibility: You can take feedback and run with it without being protective of your ideas.
