About the Team
The Advanced Technical Support (ATS) team within AMS Print drives innovative solutions that improve customer experience hardware reliability and data-driven decisionmaking. As part of this internship you will work closely with ATS engineers program managers and technical leaders to build tools and insights that support real business outcomes.

Responsibilities
Design build and maintain one or more databases with the ability to integrate with existing internal tools.
Develop scripts or applications to extract analyze and summarize data in meaningful actionable ways.
Integrate the use of Artificial Intelligence wherever applicable to maximize engineering efficiency.
Collaborate directly with ATS engineersboth onsite and virtuallyto understand customer issues hardware teardown insights and software workflows.
Participate in discovery sessions requirement gathering and solution design with guidance from ATS and AMS Print program management.
Document technical approaches processes and outcomes clearly.
Support investigations into hardware or software behaviors to expand your understanding of the business.

Education and Experience Required (Minimum Qualifications)
Junior or senior currently pursuing a bachelors degree in computer science Data Science Software Engineering Information Systems Electrical Engineering or another closely related technical field preferably with a focus or coursework in Artificial Intelligence with a focus in Artificial Intelligence**.
U.S. citizen no work authorization sponsorship is offered now or in the future.
Local to Boise Idaho relocation is not provided.
Inperson availability required for onsite collaboration with ATS engineers.
Returning to school after the internship.
Ability to work MondayFriday during standard business hours.
Ability to write code and develop basic data systems (e.g. Python SQL NoSQL or similar) (e.g. Python SQL NoSQL or similar).


Preferred Knowledge and Skills

Data science knowledge (coursework or handson experience preferred but not required).
Program management or project coordination experience (preferred but not required).
Familiarity with integrating databases with dashboards or analytical tools.
Interest in understanding hardware teardown processes or software debug workflows.
Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate in a technical environment.
Students attending an Idahobased university are preferred.


Internship Details

Duration: 12week summer internship with possible extension (negotiable).
Location: Boise with onsite engagement expected.
Schedule: Monday through Friday standard office hours.
