Job Summary
Job Title: Occupational Therapist II
Location: Syracuse NY
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift 58 hours (8:00 AM 4:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $45$51 per hour
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist II for an acute care hospital setting. This role focuses on delivering patient-centered occupational therapy services across acute care and outpatient environments supporting functional independence and safe discharge planning.
Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Educate patients and families on treatment plans safety and functional independence
Participate in patient rounds clinics and interdisciplinary meetings
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and therapy reports
Ensure proper use and maintenance of therapy equipment and supplies
Support staff education and training initiatives as needed
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
Active New York State Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for licensure
Minimum of 2 years of Occupational Therapy experience
Acute care and outpatient experience required
