Nynas is now looking for a Product HSE Advisor to join our Product HSE & Sustainability department at our headquarters in Stockholm
About the Job

As a Product HSE Advisor you will play an important role in ensuring that Nynas products meet chemical regulations across global markets. You will work in an international setting where you will collaborate with colleagues authorities and external partners to secure compliance and support our transition toward more sustainable interdisciplinary environment makes the work both social and developmental.

You will be part of a smaller team consisting of you and three other colleagues. Here you will meet an inclusive warm and collaborative work environment where different experiences and perspectives are being valued. Your colleagues have long experience in the subjects Chemistry and Environment.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring compliance with chemical legislation in all markets where Nynas operates
  • Securing accurate hazard classification and safe-use guidance for Nynas products
  • Managing our Safety Data Sheet (SDS) system and preparing compliant SDS and hazard labels
  • Handling chemical reporting to authorities and stakeholders
  • Conducting HSE and sustainability assessments for raw materials in Nynas commercial products
  • Providing chemical management expertise to operational sites
  • Managing and coordinating HSE-related investigations
  • Supporting internal and external stakeholders with product-related HSE matters

This is a broad and dynamic role with the opportunity to build a strong international network in HSE chemical compliance and product safety.

About you

We believe you have an academic background in toxicology. Perhaps you are early in your career and eager to grow or maybe you bring a few years of experience and are ready for a new challenge. You enjoy working collaboratively contribute to a positive team environment and have strong communication skills. You are eager to develop your expertise and comfortable navigating complex regulatory landscapes.

We believe you bring:

  • A university degree in toxicology (or closely related field)
  • 2-5 years of experience working with regulatory tasks chemical compliance or product safety
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in English; Swedish is an advantage
