DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

The intern will work for Marriotts Compensation & Benefits team. Key responsibilities include:

• Assist in maintaining C&B-related policies and guidelines database
• Assist in the execution and implementation of key priority projects
• Prepare reports and/or presentation decks for managements review
• Provides support in annual C&B exercises including salary survey participation/analysis and annual compensation cycle
• Handles any administrative tasks ad-hoc duties and projects as requested.

• Understand the hospitality industry and key C&B functions
• Display professionalism in both verbal and written communication with all stakeholders
• Problem-solving and project management skills to drive business outcomes
• Build technical skills & competency in C&B

JOB KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES

We are looking for a university student who is passionate committed and keen to establish a career in the Development discipline with the following attributes:

• Ability to learn quickly and excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Detailed-oriented structured and organized
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)
• Excellent Analytical and Numeracy Skills

QUALIFICATION STANDARD

Education:

• Undergraduate in Human Resources Business Management Economics preferred

Requirements:

• Singaporean Singapore Permanent Resident Holder or valid student pass/work holiday pass
• Eligible for undergraduate in a Singapore registered university program/undergraduate or graduate of a university in Singapore Australia France Germany Hong Kong Japan New Zealand Switzerland United Kingdom or the United States.
• Prepared to commit to a six-month internship
