Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Officer/Specialist to manage end-to-end procurement activities for a textile manufacturing setup. The role involves sourcing raw materials accessories and services while ensuring cost efficiency quality compliance and timely delivery from suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete procurement cycle from requirement planning to supplier delivery
- Source and procure raw materials accessories and services required for textile manufacturing
- Identify evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to achieve best cost quality and delivery terms
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality-related issues
- Coordinate with production planning and finance teams to ensure uninterrupted operations
- Prepare and analyze procurement reports cost analysis and vendor comparisons
- Ensure timely procurement to support production schedules
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate degree (mandatory)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement
- Strong exposure to textile manufacturing industry
- Proven experience in sourcing raw materials and accessories
- Good negotiation analytical and vendor management skills
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and priorities
- Cost optimization and strategic sourcing expertise
- Good coordination and stakeholder management skills
