    QUALIFICATIONS

    1. High School Diploma or equivalent
    2. Two years post-secondary education and A certification preferred in related field or a minimum of three years full time experience in field of expertise.
    3. At least three years experience in hardware installation/configuration of computers and peripherals.
    4. Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona State Drivers License.
    5. Ability to obtain a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card


    KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    1. Ability to diagnose and repair technology hardware and software.
    2. Basic knowledge of wired and wireless computer networks.
    3. Ability to troubleshoot wired and wireless network connectivity.
    4. Knowledge of disk cloning and data recovery.
    5. Ability to support all district technology systems and equipment used in field of expertise.
    6. Ability to operate all types of district vehicles.
    7. Ability to use and/or operate hand tools associated with the particular trade.
    8. Working knowledge of standard practices materials tools and equipment of the particular trade.
    9. Ability to demonstrate organizational and leadership skills
    10. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
    11. Ability to understand and follow a work schedule and written and/or verbal instructions.
    12. Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and problem-solving skills
    13. Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
    14. Ability to operatecomputer equipment for email communications word processing data management and other assigned tasks as related to the position.
    15. Ability to apply common sense understanding to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
    16. Ability to work cooperatively and courteously with staff students parents and community members.
    17. Utilize with fidelity the District Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) program at the building level.
    18. Ability to understand and maintain students and parents rights to confidentiality and not violate those rights; nor discuss students in inappropriate places or with anyone not in direct contact with such individual students.
    19. Ensure information obtained through the course of duties associated with this position is held in the highest of confidentiality.
    20. Perform all duties in accordance with Federal and State laws district procedures and Board policies including mandatory reporting procedures.

    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Assemble troubleshoot and maintain all district technology systems software applications and peripherals.
    2. Troubleshoot wired and wireless network connectivity.
    3. Provide end-user training onthe operation of technology systems and software applications.
    4. Provide routine installation upgrade and maintenance of computer software hardware peripherals networking and telecommunications systems.
    5. Provide input and make recommendations to Supervisor on maintenance contracts and equipment for replacement or repair.
    6. Provide technical support for all district computer applications.
    7. Assist Technology Coordinator and/or Supervisor in the preparation and submission of technology Grants.
    8. Assist in the maintenance of existing telephone systems.

    While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to reach with hands and arms sit stand walk stoop and bend as necessary. The employee maylift carry push pull or otherwise move objects weighing a minimum of 50 pounds. The employee will ascend/descend ladders and walk/stand for extended periods. The employee will read correspondence and computer screens and use the telephone.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT
    Work is indoors and outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions and temperatures. Exposure to noise dust gas and noise level in the work environment is generally moderate and may become excessively noisy at have contact with employees students and public.

    TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
    INITIAL WAGE PLACEMENT PLAN:Starting at$21.60 Per Hour
    WORK YEAR: 12 Months/8 hours
    FLSA Status: Non-exempt
