Job Summary
The Lead Telecommunication Network Architect designs standardizes and optimizes large-scale enterprise telecom networks supporting thousands of locations. This role defines architecture frameworks advanced routing strategies transport technologies and security models while leading modernization automation and capacity planning initiatives across complex wired and wireless infrastructures.
The position provides strategic technical leadership for enterprise network transformation performance optimization and standardized deployment models while guiding engineering teams and driving vendor procurement efforts.
Key Responsibilities

Architect and deploy scalable secure and highly available telecom networks across extensive multi-site environments.

Establish enterprise standards for transport technologies routing security and network automation.

Design advanced MPLS core and data center connectivity architectures.

Develop standardized implementation frameworks for engineering and deployment teams.

Lead network modernization initiatives including dynamic routing segment routing EVPN and automation strategies.

Oversee performance monitoring capacity planning and disaster recovery optimization.

Evaluate and introduce emerging telecom technologies and platforms.

Lead procurement and vendor selection processes including RFP development and evaluation.

Create and maintain network architecture documentation standards and operating procedures.

Collaborate with operations engineering security and infrastructure teams to ensure reliability and escalation processes.

Optimize QoS policies and traffic engineering across WAN and LAN environments.

Provide technical mentorship training and cross-functional leadership.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Engineering Information Technology Telecommunications or related field (or equivalent experience).
