Accountant I or Accountant II Live Oak TX
Job Type: Permanent
Compensation: $47840 - 70270 Annually
Description
premier client that is searching for talented Accountant I or Accountant II professionals to join their team in the San Antonio TX area. Responsibilities:
- Research analyze and document explanations for variances in general ledger accounts
- Reconcile general ledgers and ensure outages are rectified promptly
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger according to GAAP maintaining complex Excel spreadsheets for supporting documentation
- Communicate productively and professionally with employees and vendors to resolve issues and answer general ledger related questions
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in business related field such as Accounting Finance or related degree
- Relevant coursework in accounting and financial reporting
- Accountant I: 1 years of experience
- Accountant II: 3-5 years of experience
- Experience managing multiple tasks on tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite specifically comfortable in Microsoft Excel
