Job Summary

We are working closely alongside with a local authority in Sefton MBC to assist with the appointment of a Youth Justice Operational Manager on a 3-months contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 26.60 - 35.29 per hour

Summary:

The Youth Justice Operational Manager is a pivotal leadership role dedicated to supporting the Service Manager in delivering high-quality effective services to children young people and their families. You will lead a multi-agency team providing robust managerial oversight to improve service quality and ensure that children are empowered to maximize their potential. As a senior member of the team you will deputise for the Service Manager lead key thematic areas within the Youth Justice Service and drive the implementation of the Service Development Plan

Responsibilities:

Support the Service Manager in the delivery of high-quality services and deputise for them as required.
Take responsibility for implementing the Service Development Plan and formulating local delivery plans.
Conduct audits observe practice and integrate with wider Childrens Services to support Quality Assurance and service improvement activity.
Ensure high-quality service delivery that consistently meets National Key Performance Indicators.
Develop and maintain relationships with partners to ensure children receive a fully integrated offer of support.

Qualifications:

Must be a Social Care Qualified professional (e.g. Degree in Social Work and relevant registration)

Essentials:

Extensive experience in leading people and managing performance within a multi-agency or youth justice setting.
Experience in implementing development plans and leading specific thematic areas within a service.
