Job Summary
Job Description: Transcriptionist at AmeriHealth Hospice
Job Responsibilities:
- Transcribe medical documents including patient histories exam reports diagnostic findings and other medical reports
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in transcribing sensitive patient information
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify any unclear dictation or terminology
- Organize and maintain medical records in a systematic and efficient manner
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in medical transcription
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a medical transcriptionist or similar role
- Excellent typing skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
