Position Summary:

This role works closely with the Director of Live Production and Broadcast as well as teams across Marketing Partnership Marketing Foundation Social/Digital and Hockey Operations to integrate brand standards and The Kraken Voice into every display during Kraken events at Climate Pledge Arena.

Primary responsibilities include leading content workflows in the control room loading finalized content into Daktronics Show Control and Vioso creating new elements and templates in Ross Xpression and collaborating with the Climate Pledge Arena engineering team to prevent technical failures and develop real-time solutions as issues arise. The role requires strong attention to detail in branding and spelling the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment strong collaboration skills and a solid knowledge of sports (preferably hockey) along with the ability to create engaging graphics.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Content Workflow
    • Manage video boards ribbon boards projection and display content to ensure seamless execution.
    • Coordinate with the Partnership Marketing team to prepare sponsored elements and deliver proof-of-performance reports.
    • Develop and implement creative elements with support from Brand and Motion Graphic teams that enhance our brand presence. Key software includes Ross Xpression and Adobe products including Photoshop Premiere Audition and After Effects.
  • Technical Support
    • Collaborate with Climate Pledge Arena teammates to identify and address maintenance requirements.
    • Recommend equipment and technology to stay at the forefront of creativity and innovation leveraging the latest editorial trends and technology knowledge.
    • Create and maintain Xpression Vioso and Show Control project files templates and procedures for LED boards and in-game displays.
    • Utilize DataLinq and Stripe to integrate real-time statistics into graphics ensuring accuracy.
  • Game Days
    • Prepare game-night graphics and video elements for execution by control room operators
    • Load and schedule all sponsorship elements for game day or Kraken special events
    • Create Quality Control (QC) and manage graphics ensuring they align with team branding and sponsor requirements.
    • Fulfill last minute changes and requests prior to and during the game
    • Support game night staff with any Production and Entertainment Experience needs
    • Distribute post-game reports

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Must have 5 years working experience with Daktronics and Ross Video systems including Show Control Ross Xpression Dashboard and Acuity Switcher.
  • Maintain an organizational system of physical and digital property of the Arena Control Room
  • Strong technical acumen. Must have a myriad of control room equipment know-how
  • Be extremely organized detail-oriented resourceful a quick learner and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Support game night staff with any Production and Entertainment Experience needs
  • Influence inspire and motivate colleagues at all levels within the organization.
  • Show strong verbal and written communication skills with an expert ability to present and communicate new ideas and concepts.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of personal integrity and consistently prioritize the organizations interests.
  • Be a strong communicator and cross-organizational collaborator.

Total Rewards Package:

  • Compensation:
    • In accordance with Washingtons Equal Pay and Opportunity Act the expected salary range for this position is $90000-$105000. Actual base pay will depend on employees experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Working Conditions:

  • This role is based on-site at Climate Pledge Arena and in our Seattle office and requires work to be performed in person. However we do value flexibility as the business will allow and offer occasional opportunities to work from home.
  • Minimal Travel (<10% travel): May be required to travel. Trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay away from home for one or more nights.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends nights and holidays
  • Frequent bending lifting 15-20 pounds sitting exposure to multiple external elements extensive walking through the building including inclines and stairs.
