Duties & Responsibilities

Operate and control the MDF ContiRoll press line in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Monitor process parameters (temperature pressure speed moisture density) to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Identify troubleshoot and escalate process deviations to minimize downtime.
Conduct routine checks and ensure safety standards are always adhered to.
Collaborate with team leaders maintenance and quality departments to achieve production targets.
Record production data prepare reports and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure adherence to workplace safety housekeeping and ISO quality standards.
Communicate with the Steam generation plant Refiner and Sander Operators in order to produce the quality Products.
Assist with the Production maintenance of the line

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric) with Maths and Science or equivalent; a technical qualification will be advantageous.
Diploma in Wood Technology would be an added advantage
Minimum 12 years experience in a production environment preferably in wood-based panel manufacturing (MDF / Particleboard / Chipboard)
Knowledge of ContiRoll press operation will be a strong advantage.
Good understanding of process control systems and production workflows.
Strong attention to detail problem-solving and communication skills.
