Job Summary
Blood & Sand is looking to expand its kitchen team with motivated and forward thinking individuals. Experience is a must.
Responsibilites include:
- Must have experience working in a professional fine dining kitchen.
- Assist Chef in menu planning and execution.
- Inventory management.
- Overseeing food preparation and general practice.
- Supervising kitchen staff.
- Ability to adhere to proper food handling cleanliness safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Being fully responsible for working a station including prepping cleaning and maintaining the line.
- Monitoring ticket times and food quality and having an eye for detail.
- Able to follow recipes and verbal directions.
- Good communication skills especially with regards to low product counts.
- Being able to organize and plan your time effectively.
- Come in on time ready to work every day.
- Strive to constantly improve - including learning the menu in full detail learning other stations taking on more responsibility as your skill set develops.
