Join DKB Code Factory as a Senior Backend Engineer and take on a pivotal role driving the technical excellence and delivery of core backend services. This hybrid position in Valencia offers the chance to grow your leadership skills own key system domains and mentor peers within a collaborative high-impact team.

yourresponsibilities:
- Deliver complex backend features end-to-end with minimal supervision ensuring high quality and timely completion.
- Mentor and support other developers through code reviews pairing and knowledge sharing to boost team capability.
- Take ownership of core functions or domain areas within the team and expand influence across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to improve team processes including code quality testing and documentation standards.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners QA DevOps and fellow engineers to deliver reliable scalable solutions.
- Serve as a technical expert and informal leader fostering continuous improvement and technical excellence.

- Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring ecosystem.
- Proven ability to design and implement complex backend solutions simply and effectively.
- Solid understanding of performance security and maintainability best practices.
- Experience across full software development lifecycle and CI/CD workflows.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Demonstrated willingness to mentor and support team members.
- Curiosity and commitment to continuous learning and pragmatic problem-solving.
- Familiarity with Postgres Kafka REST APIs and monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus is a plus.
