Job Opportunity: Nurse Practitioner - Urology

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Urology surgeon in diagnosing and treating urologic conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments.
- Develop and implement treatment and care plans.
- Order perform and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Participate in urologic surgeries and office-based procedures.
- Provide education for patients and families about diagnoses procedures and treatment plans.
- Manage post-operative and follow-up care.
- Coordinate care with physicians nurses and clinical staff.
- Adhere to universal precautions and OSHA bloodborne pathogen standards.
- Work in an environment with potential exposure to blood body fluids and communicable diseases.
- Support departmental operations alongside LPNs medical assistants and clerical staff.
- Practice under the supervision of a physician in a physician office setting.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree from an accredited Adult Nurse Practitioner program.
- Active Vermont APRN License.
- Two (2) years of nursing experience in Urology.
- Healthcare Provider CPR Certification.
- Credentialable by Brattleboro Memorial Hospital Medical Staff.
- DEA License.
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Eligible for credentialing by Brattleboro Memorial Hospital Medical Staff.
- National APRN certification recognized by the Vermont State Board of Nursing (preferred).
