We are seeking a top-tier OBIEE Architect responsible for designing governing and optimizing the Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) platform end-to-end. This pivotal role sets the technical vision ensures scalable architecture and leads to complex BI implementations migrations and performance enhancements. The architect collaborates closely with business stakeholders developers DBAs and infrastructure teams to deliver a robust enterprise-grade analytics ecosystem.

This position is fully remote but requires working Eastern Standard Time hours.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Architecture & Design
. Define and own the OBIEE architecture (12c) across DEV TEST and PROD
. Design enterprise RPD models (semantic layer best practices subject areas conformed dimensions)
. Establish standards patterns and governance for OBIEE development and administration
. Design security architecture (application roles LDAP/AD row-level & data-level security)

Platform Leadership
. Lead OBIEE upgrades migrations and consolidations
. Evaluate and plan transitions to Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) or hybrid architectures
. Define performance and scalability strategies (caching aggregates query optimization)
. Guide WebLogic and infrastructure architecture (HA load balancing DR)

Delivery & Oversight
. Provide technical leadership to OBIEE Admins and Developers
. Review and approve RPD designs dashboards and reports
. Troubleshoot complex platform and performance issues
. Partner with DBAs and ETL teams to align BI and data architecture

Client & Stakeholder Engagement
. Translate business requirements into technical BI solutions
. Act as trusted advisor to business and IT leadership
. Lead technical discussions design reviews and roadmap planning
. Support vendor replacement or platform stabilization initiatives

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. Proven Expertise in Oracle BI / OBIEE
. Expertise in RPD modeling (physical BMM presentation layers) and
WebLogic administration.
. Experience with multi-environmental deployments.
. Proficient in Developing and maintaining reports and dashboards.
. Proficient in Establishing BI governance and best practices
. Solid SQL skills for validation and troubleshooting
. Knowledge of accounting concepts and Stakeholder Management

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward merit-based performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89600.00 - $198400.00.
