Location: Flexible remote London or constituency office (Sussex Weald)
Contract: Fixed-term until end of June 2026 (initially 5 months)
Hours: Part-time or full-time (by agreement)

Nusrat Ghani MP is seeking a Caseworker / Campaign Assistant to join her busy team supporting two high-profile local campaigns that have generated significant constituent interest and correspondence.
This role is initially offered on a fixed-term basis until the end of June 2026. There may be some flexibility around working pattern and location however you may need to be available to attend pre-arranged constituency events.
The postholder will provide hands-on support across casework correspondence and campaign activity with a particular focus on:
The Home Offices use of the Army Training Camp near Crowborough as asylum accommodation
The campaign to see Crowborough Birthing Centre reopened for births

Managing and responding to high volumes of constituent correspondence by email letter phone and online platforms
Handling casework related to the two campaigns including logging tracking and progressing cases accurately and sensitively
Processing and responding to petition entries and standard campaign correspondence
Maintaining clear confidential and accurate case records in line with data protection requirements
Providing general administrative and campaign support to the constituency team
For the right candidate and as the role develops there may also be scope to:
Assist with drafting content for local communications including social media and press responses
Support engagement with local stakeholders media and community groups
You will ideally have:
Previous experience working in a parliamentary or constituency office (highly desirable)
Strong written communication skills with excellent attention to detail
The ability to manage a high workload prioritise effectively and work at pace
Sound judgement and a professional empathetic approach to sensitive issues
A strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality support to constituents
Experience or interest in communications media or campaign work would be welcomed though this is primarily a casework-focused role.
The role can be based remotely in London or in the constituency office
Some attendance at local events may be required with notice provided wherever possible
Flexibility around hours will be considered for the right candidate
