Day Shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Evening Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
Flexible scheduling
Every other weekend and holiday required
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Falmouth Massachusetts. The LPN will provide direct patient care and supervise nursing assistants while ensuring compliance with all applicable federal state and local regulations. This role emphasizes patient safety quality care and service excellence in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established care plans and physician orders
Supervise and guide nursing assistants during assigned shifts
Administer medications and treatments following proper identification and safety protocols
Accurately document nursing care and patient responses
Transcribe and implement physician orders
Assist with patient admissions transfers discharges and orientation
Perform clinical procedures including catheterization wound care tube feedings suctioning and specimen collection
Monitor vital signs and observe changes in patient condition
Coordinate care with physicians nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams
Participate in surveys audits and inspections as required
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and resident rights standards
Demonstrate service excellence through Compassion Accountability Respect Excellence and Service
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
Active unrestricted Massachusetts LPN license
BLS/CPR & AED certification required
Preferred Experience & Skills
Knowledge of nursing practices medical procedures and long-term care regulations
Prior experience supervising nursing assistants
Strong documentation time management and organizational skills
Ability to provide age-appropriate care across diverse patient populations
