Assistant Womens Soccer Coach
Position Summary
MSU Athletics is searching for an assistant womens soccer coach to assist in all areas of running a highly successful Big Ten Womens Soccer program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in all phases of the recruitment of highly qualified student-athletes.
- Identify evaluate communicate and develop relationships with coaches recruits and parents while adhering to all NCAA rules
- Scout game plan and communicate effectively within a highly competitive league.
- Assist the Head Coach in practice planning and the implementation of training for maximum learning and progress of student-athletes
- Work collaboratively with all members of staff.
- Participate in all phases of a collegiate program including camp coordination and administration academics marketing fund raising social media etc.
- Utilize software used by Michigan State including Teamworks Front Rush and other database systems.
- Other duties as assigned by the head coach to support the womens soccer program.

Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience training goalkeepers at the collegiate or expert level.
- Bachelors required
- Demonstrated ability to recruit high level athletes.
- Exceptional leadership communication and organizational skills.
- Strong commitment to academic goals and student athlete welfare.
- Understand and contribute to the teamwork necessary within a coaching staff for optimal performance.
- Ability to work well with student-athletes coaches administrators faculty alumni and staff.
- Knowledge and adherence to NCAA rules MSU regulations and the Big Ten policies and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Masters degree preferred.
