Final Inspector

About the role: The Final Inspector will play a critical role in our quality assurance process by inspecting completed parts and assemblies to verify that they meet all specifications tolerances and quality standards before shipment. This position requires a keen eye for detail strong familiarity with inspection tools and a commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Perform final inspections on finished parts ensuring compliance with blueprints specifications and quality standards
• Utilize various inspection tools such as micrometers calipers gauges and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) to measure dimensions and tolerances
• Verify surface finishes alignments and material properties as required by the project
• Document and report any defects deviations or discrepancies found during inspection
• Collaborate with production and quality control teams to resolve issues and maintain high standards
• Maintain accurate records of inspections including inspection reports and quality documentation
• Adhere to all company and industry safety protocols while working in the shop

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is a plus
• 2 years of experience in quality inspection preferably within a machine shop environment is preferred but not required
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and teamwork-oriented mindset

Pay:
