Job Summary

Technical Plant Manager
Location: Scranton Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Full-time direct hire
Compensation: $100000 $140000 annually plus bonus
Relocation assistance available

This role is responsible for leading technical and operational improvements within a manufacturing plant with a strong focus on reorganizing shop operations implementing continuous improvement initiatives and integrating new technologies to increase efficiency while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include:

Reorganizing and optimizing production workflows within a millwork or manufacturing environment
Leading continuous improvement lean manufacturing and change management initiatives
Overseeing equipment tooling and production processes including CNC and finishing systems
Supporting maintenance safety and compliance initiatives
Collaborating with leadership to drive operational performance and growth

Required experience and education:

Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field or an associate degree in industrial mechanical or woodworking technology
7 or more years of experience in plant or technical operations within a manufacturing environment
Experience with architectural woodworking or similar production processes preferred
Familiarity with CNC equipment finishing systems and related production machinery
Experience leading operational improvements or reorganization efforts
Proficiency with MS Office and exposure to ERP or maintenance tracking systems
OSHA 30 certification or equivalent preferred
