Job Summary

Senior Analog Design and Layout Engineer
Location: Los Angeles California
Employment Type: Full-time direct hire
Compensation: $157000 $180000 annually
Work Authorization: U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required
On-site position

This role supports advanced microelectronics design activities combining hands-on analog circuit design physical layout and verification across multiple process technologies. The position involves technical collaboration research support and mentorship within a highly innovative engineering environment.

Responsibilities include:

Providing technical support for analog and mixed-signal circuit design from schematic capture through tape-out
Developing and implementing physical layouts across multiple semiconductor processes including CMOS and related technologies
Performing post-layout simulation parasitic extraction and layout verification including DRC and LVS
Supporting research and educational design activities through troubleshooting and design optimization
Preparing technical documentation and design reports for internal and external stakeholders

Required qualifications:

Bachelors degree or higher in electrical engineering electronics computer engineering or a related field
3 or more years of professional experience in analog circuit design and/or physical layout
Strong proficiency with industry-standard EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso SPICE simulators or Mentor Graphics
Solid understanding of layout verification and design-for-manufacturing principles
Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with device-level electromagnetic or photonic simulations
Background in mentoring training or instructional support
