Job Summary
Duties:
- ares for adult and geriatric patients during procedures. Prepares patients for examinations.
- Reports clinical changes in patient condition to the RN or physician.
- Contact NP PA or MD with STAT results and/or abnormal findings.
- Appropriately documents all procedures by including labeling and identifying studies documenting procedure related information in the recording system/medical record and entering charges.
- Performs related duties such as reporting equipment malfunctions assisting others special assignments cleans work area and replenishes supplies.
- Maintain all standards of performance with sterile procedures and infection prevention.
Skills:
- Demonstrated expertise in CVT technical skills.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Vascular Technologist preferred. Must be able to take call.
- Demonstrates standards of performance (ownership teamwork communication compassion) that support patient satisfaction and principles of service excellence.
- The technologists need to be able to perform the following: UE/ LE VENOUS CAROTID TEMPORAL ARTERY DUPLEX ABDOMINALS ( AORTA/ILIACRENAL MESENTERIC and PORTAL) HEMODIALYSIS ACCESS VENOUS INSUFFICIENCY ARTERIAL PVR (UELE) UE/LE ARTERIAL DUPLEX (BYPASS GRAFT SURVEILLANCE PALMAR ARCH PATENCY) VEIN MAPPING (FOR BPG CABG AVF)
Education:
- Graduation from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology
Licensure / Certifications:
- RVT/RVS preferred.
- BLS required.
Schedule Notes:
- We will need two techs Monday through Friday
- 9am - 5pm
