The Harbour Hospital in Pooleis part of Circle Health Group Britains leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.
We have an opportunity for a Senior Registered Nurse to join their team of staff in thenursing department.
This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care and lead on the assessment planning implementation and evaluation of care for complex patients.
- Use advanced clinical knowledge to make timely and appropriate decisions escalating where necessary.
- Provide day-to-day supervision and support to nursing and healthcare assistant staff.
- Delegate tasks appropriately ensuring safe and effective workload management across the shift.
- Support the learning and development of students junior nurses and new team members through mentoring coaching and clinical supervision.
- Contribute to the induction training and appraisal of staff within your clinical area.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Registered Nurse (Adult) with active NMC registration.
- Significant post-registration experience in an acute or relevant clinical setting.
- Proven ability to lead mentor and support a nursing team.
- Strong clinical decision-making problem-solving and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate and patient-focused approach.
- Confidence in working independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
