Job Summary
We are looking for a Post-Silicon Validation Engineer with strong expertise in SoC validation characterization and automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Linux/Android environments scripting and deep hardware debugging across CPU GPU and multimedia subsystems.
Key Responsibilities
Perform post-silicon validation and characterization activities
Develop and execute automation scripts to improve validation efficiency
Validate and debug SoC components including CPU GPU and multimedia blocks
Work in Linux and Android OS environments for testing and debugging
Use ADB shell scripting and Windows shell scripting for test execution
Analyze failures perform root cause analysis and drive issue resolution
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across global time zones
Communicate validation status issues and results effectively
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics / Computer Science (BE/MTech/MS)
36 years of experience in post-silicon validation characterization and automation
Strong knowledge of Linux and Android OS
Hands-on experience with ADB shell scripting and Windows shell scripting
Solid understanding of SoC architecture
Knowledge of ARM / x86 CPU GPU and Multimedia architecture
Strong hardware debugging skills and structured problem-solving approach
Excellent coordination and communication skills
Good to Have / Plus Points
Experience testing Android phone platforms
Strong hands-on experience with ADB commands and debugging
Python scripting for automation
Experience in automating test equipment
Ability to read and understand schematics
Experience using CRO / Oscilloscope for debugging
Knowledge of Semiconductor Technology and PVT processes
