Technical Relationship Manager AladdinAssociate

Aladdin is an operating system for investment managers thatseeksto connect the information people and technology needed to manage money in real time. The Aladdin platform combines risk analytics with portfolio management trading compliance and operations tools on a single platform to power informed decision-making effective risk management efficient trading and operational scale. Aladdin is used by a community of over 200 institutional clients around the world including BlackRock. There are over 50000 end users of Aladdin globally. The team iscomprisedof 800 professionals responsible for implementing and supporting our Aladdin clients sales and marketing and ensuring the Aladdin Community maximizes Aladdin products through engagement and education.

We are seeking an Aladdin Technical Relationship Manager to work closely with Aladdin clients to be their trusted consultant problem solver and business partner and to take full advantage of Aladdin.

Key responsibilities include:

Own relationships with client teams and help them useAladdinto achieve their firms goals

Understand the clients business challenges and provide impactful solutions combining investment lifecycleexpertisewith your knowledge of themarkets and our product suite

Ensure client feedback on product is communicated to the Product Managers and is tracked through successful development and deployment.

Partner with the client as well as Aladdin Product Managers to support clients development needs

Assistclients inleveragingAladdinto its fullest across the entire investment lifecycle and drive adoption across client teams

Keep updated on regulatory and operational industry trends to help your clients stay ahead of changing times

Build strong relationships through direct engagement with business influencers both internally and externally

Engage with clients to define key strategic and tactical initiativesleveragingyour internal network to oversee and execute cross-functional project solutions

Lead internal stakeholders discussions to guide and align priorities by bringing the voice of the client to the table

Qualifications

2 years of work experience in the financial services industry

Strong interest in FinTech

Working understanding of equity fixedincomeand derivative products

Familiarity with buy-side investment management workflows such as trading operations and complianceORExperience advising clients on portfolio analysis portfolio optimization riskdecompositionand performance attribution

Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to clients

Ambitious approach to large complex projects with a flair for problem solving

Self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced high-intensity environment and works well as part of a multi-disciplinary global team

Preferred Skills and Experience

Prior experience inAladdineFront or other private markets financial technology is a plus

Experience with SQLUNIXormodern programming languages

For Toronto Canada Only the salary range for this position is CAD$107000.00 - CAD$142000.00 which is the equivalent of CAD$51.44 - CAD$68.27 per hour. Additionally employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including healthcare leave benefits and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role location and firm department and individual performance.
