About The Role:
The Fit Technician at Roark is essential to product excellence ensuring garments meet specifications while driving fit accuracy quality and consistency.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Measure & record garments compared to approved specs on all prototypes salesman samples pre-production samples and top of production.
- Conduct fit sessions on live models weekly for all stages of product creation.
- Provide clear detailed fit comments and visual references to internal and external partners
- Establish new fits & blocks with design team at the beginning of the season per SOP
- Partner w/ Design PD Production to ensure garments meet fit standards.
- Participate in Product team meetings & reviews
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers
- Responsible for Mens Womens and Active Categories
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- 7 years experience in apparel fitting tech design product development
- Strong understanding of garment construction pattern-making grading principles and materials impact on fit decisions.
- Experience conducting live fit sessions
- Fit analysis and problem solving
- Proficiency with PLM systems and basic Excel (measurement tracking)
- Comfortable managing multiple styles and deadlines
- Experience w/ Gerber pattern making system a plus
Location & Office Structure: This is an in-office hybrid position mandatory 4 days per week in office in Irvine CA with the option to work from home 1 day per week. Subject to change without notice as per company guidelines.
Compensation: The salary range for this position is $85000 to $110000 plus opportunity for annual bonus; salary is based on the experience that you bring to the position.
