Job Description Summary
The Faculty Assistant supports the instructor in Human-Computer Interaction ( HCI ) iOS App Development or both courses through in-class support grading and student help hours.
Responsibilities
Grade assignments quizzes projects and reflections using instructor-provided rubrics. Support course logistics in Canvas (posting materials grades and feedback). Post grades and provide feedback on assignments on Canvas Hold walk-in help hours to give targeted feedback on assignment grading and assist students with assignments Answer student questions via Slack/email in a timely and professional manner.
Required Qualifications
Completed HCI and/or iOS App Development (or equivalent) with an A- or above or have evidence of similar experience. Reliable communication and ability to commit 5 hours per week. Professional patient and supportive teaching mindset.
