Your role and responsibilities:

In this role you will have the opportunity to coordinate and facilitate the development implementation and successful onboarding of digital solutions. Each day you will support the adoption of digital platform and solutions into the customer business environment along with their subsequent operations and maintenance. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in the ideation workstreams from identifying and validating the needs to defining the development.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Performing a variety of software engineering tasks in one or more areas of the assigned areas such as software development software quality engineering software testing DevOps cybersecurity software release support and maintenance and/or release management with limited supervision.
• Testing and troubleshooting the final system setup and ensuring its successful rollout through training and retraining the customers and providing subsequent ongoing support and services.
• Ensuring that all required resources are in place to implement software on-time and on-budget.
• Contributing to the software product roadmap and portfolio through suggesting new features functionality and variants.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field with a focus on software development automation systems or engineering application design with minimum 23 years of experience in software development and system integration delivering fullstack or serviceoriented solutions with measurable impact utilizing C# .NET
• Experienced in Windows and Linux software development with the ability and willingness to learn new languages and technologies as needed.
• Collaborative and innovative working effectively with crossfunctional teams to continuously improve system quality reliability and development efficiency.
• Preferred Experience: C Python RESTful API design databases and CI/CD pipelines with strong understanding of tools and frameworks used in engineering systems automation and R&D software development.
• Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
