Project Engineeringcompany wants to employ a senior Structural Draughtsman in their Witbank / Middelburg Office.

5 years experience in CAD / Solid Edge /Mechanical Draughting software

Seniorlevel Drawing Office Project Section Leader.

• Responsible for overseeingdraughtsmanon Projects and ensuring the successful delivery of project drawings and documentation.
• Ensure that drawing office resources are managed accordingly as well as ensuring details anddesignsare done in accordance with required specifications client requirements and good engineering practice for the specific project.
• Manage a team ofdraughtsmento produce project specific drawings as per project schedule
• Coordinate with to gather information fordraughtsmanand clarify project requirements
• Proven experience in a drawing office or similar role with a strong background in managing ofdraughtsmen
• Proficiency in relevantdesign.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Familiarity with South-African engineering standard and regulations
• The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings designs and schematics using Autodesk software ensuring that all designs meet engineering standards client specifications and regulatory requirements

• Familiarity with South-African engineering standard and regulations.
• Qualification min: National Diploma

Program knowledge for both positions.

Autodesk Advance Steel experience (non-negotiable)

Experience with Autodesk Plant 3D and other Autodesk AEC Collection software will be advantageous

Duties : Receiving of new project engineering drawings filling them both hard copy and electronic copy per project.
Send and received emails to engineers and clients. This entail all the communication on such projects. From receiving a new revision submitting a request for information submitting drawings for approval and or fabrication.
Deliver and collect engineering drawings from engineers and clients.
Steel detailing on my own and or within a team depending of the size and scope of such project. Projects experience obtained are conveyors walkways bins chutes platforms staircases cat ladders mezzanine floors vehicle showrooms shopping malls and structural steel roofs on both drawing board and Auto-Cad.
Populating and generating bill of materials in excel for projects in order for the fabricator and client to source materials.

Matric

Draughting qualification pref.

5 years experience in CAD (mechanical / structural engineering draughting)

Computer literate -Advanced Excel - MS Projects (Beneficial)

Car and drivers license

Afrikaans

Non smoker

Must be based in Mpumulangato apply or be prepare to relocate
