Job Overview
The Shop Helper performs a combination of tasks including but not limited to efficiently and safely loading and unloading materials painting sweeping rigging shop maintenance and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Help maintain and organize the shop as directed.
- Deliver and make runs for the shop.
- Empty garbage cans daily.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the shop; all items off the floor and sweep daily.
- Maintain consumables inventory.
- Maintain tools inventory.
- Clean up any oil spills drips and any slipping hazards immediately on the premises.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Capability to operate forklifts.
- Basic computer knowledge to place orders and communicate through emails.
- Valid drivers license.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and safety-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
