Pay Rate:
Local: $64/hour
Traveler: $72/hour
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient-centered care in an acute inpatient oncology setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in managing complex oncology cases particularly leukemia and lymphoma and will collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to deliver evidence-based nursing care.
Key Responsibilities
Assess patients using medical diagnoses and functional health frameworks
Develop implement and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions
Accurately document and manage patient care according to clinical priorities
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Advocate for evidence-based practice and continuous improvement
Deliver patient-centered care aligned with professional nursing standards
Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of acute adult inpatient oncology experience
Strong clinical experience with leukemia and lymphoma patient populations
Education
Required:
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Certifications & Licensure
Required:
BLS (AHA)
ACLS
Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Card (ONS)
Active New Jersey RN License or Multi-State Compact License
Preferred:
Telemetry
ONS Chemotherapy Certification
