Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time Phlebotomist to support our Hruby Family Medicine and Urgent Care Clinics. The Phlebotomist delivers comprehensive patient care by collecting blood and urine samples performing laboratory tests and ensuring accurate patient identification and communication.
In addition to clinical responsibilities this role includes administrative duties such as documenting patient records managing inventory and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Successful candidates perform effectively in emergency situations and demonstrate strong knowledge of patient medical records and infection control policies and procedures. They also exhibit excellent critical thinking interpersonal and organizational skills.
Shifts: 8-hour shifts Monday-Friday. 8:00AM-4:30PM.
This position is located at 7600 South Minnesota Ave Sioux Falls SD.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Graduate of an accredited Phlebotomy program preferred.
- Certification in Phlebotomy is preferred.
- Clinical experience is preferred.
- BLS certification is required; can be obtained upon hire.
