About this role:
The Global FP&A arm of Gartner is currently seeking talented people leader with an entrepreneurial mindset to join its Services team in India. As a member of this team you will spearhead a team of high calibre high performing associates to drive analytics and reporting. This position will perform a key role in providing business analysis decision support and thought leadership to Gartners key business unit Global Service & Delivery (GS&D) and their leaders. We are looking for ambitious individuals with outstanding proven analytical capabilities and intellectual curiosity who enjoy partnering with business leaders to grasp large complex data sets and develop clear business solutions. What youll do:

• Collaborate with Global Services businesses to ensure all reporting and analytics are performed in an accurate and timely manner
• Provide superior analytical and business support to the Services business to ensure he/she is equipped with insight and analysis to support investments in targeted market sectors
• Lead and assist the annual budget and quarterly forecast process and identify areas of risk and opportunities to enhance business models
• Provide reporting and detailed analyses to help business leaders make timely fact-based decisions and understand business performance
• Convert top-down business initiative/objectives/requirements into actionable data analytics projects as well as conceiving and proposing bottom-up analytics innovations
• Continuously improve quality of processes & deliverables by establishing a regular process check and measurement mechanism.
• Partnering with internal stakeholders to learn ideate and recommend automation alternatives to analysts manual work streams
• Lead the annual revenue modelling and quarterly forecast process and identify areas of risk and opportunities to enhance business models
• Provide ad hoc analysis and finance support in addition to recurring accountabilities
• Provide support to enable long range planning to become a continuous activity
• Manage and coordinate team projects test of new processes and help with new finance system enhancement
• Lead and mentor a team of analysts to drive cutting edge analytics
• Build highly effective team by recruiting interviewing and assessing talent
• Day to day management of 3-4 associates promoting teamwork and individual development

What youll need:

• 8-10 years Bachelors & Masters Degree with a concentration in Business Finance Engineering Accounting Statistics or Analytics or similar area required.
• Advanced certification in Business Finance or Accounting desired
• 5 years relevant professional experience leading /managing and/or mentoring team of associates
• Working knowledge of business operations
• Experience involving data analytics project management executive presentations and independent thought leadership
• Excellent communication collaboration prioritization critical thinking influencing and change management skills
• Incumbent must have strong interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to summarize and present meaningful financial data/insights.
• Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture by being approachable providing continuous encouragement to team identifying skill gaps and communicating team goals
• Strong time management skills to prioritize workload and meet deadlines with accurate results even in high-pressure situations
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven and dynamic team environment.
• Experience in dealing with financial systems such Oracle/ SAP/TM1is desired
• Experience in statistical analysis programs(R/Python/SQL) & advanced knowledge of PowerBI is required
