Job Summary
Role Overview
Westpac is seeking a dynamic and energetic Senior Operations Manager to join its Business Lending Domain. This is a critical leader of leaders role responsible for supporting multiple leaders and teams while ensuring seamless operations strong engagement and outstanding customer outcomes in a high volume multi brand environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop high performing leaders and teams through strong objective setting coaching performance management and succession planning
- Inspire and lead people through organisational and projectdriven change fostering ownership accountability and engagement
- Embed a service excellence customerfirst culture focused on being better every day for customers
- Build strong partnerships with business leaders and stakeholders across the value chain
- Own operational performance through KPI analysis effective decisionmaking and strong process and risk controls
- Drive efficiency and continuous improvement supporting the successful delivery of change programs and operational initiatives
Required Skills & Attributes
- Strong action oriented leader who drives accountability delivers on commitments and makes sound timely decisions
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence effectively across internal and external stakeholders
- Confident resilient leader with the courage to lead through complexity challenge constructively and hold the course
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing highperforming teams including firstlevel leaders and succession planning
- Customerfocused mindset ensuring processes and decisions consistently deliver better customer experiences
- Strong understanding of risk management compliance and operational excellence with the ability to translate strategy into action
