Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Barge Washer to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of barges. The ideal candidate will have experience using high-pressure hoses (4-inch) to remove grain corn beans and other residue from cargo areas. This role requires strong attention to detail safe work habits and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team. Barge Washers help ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards while supporting smooth barge operations.
Must-Have Qualifications
Experience with high-pressure washing including use of a 4-inch hose
Strong work ethic reliability and consistent attendance
Safe work habits and adherence to health and safety regulations
Ability to follow cleaning procedures and company guidelines
Team player capable of working in a physically demanding environment
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience cleaning barges cargo areas or similar environments
Familiarity with environmental regulations and waste handling
Knowledge of equipment maintenance and cleaning safety procedures
Attention to detail and ability to identify maintenance or repair issues
Key Responsibilities
Clean cargo areas of barges using high-pressure hoses to remove grain corn beans and other residues
Follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe working environment
Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor
Adhere to health and safety regulations
Assist team members in maintaining barge operations efficiency
