The Engineering Program Specialist (EPS) partners with engineering product and operations teams to drive execution of complex engineering programs. This role focuses on program coordination data rigor BOM management resource optimization and cross-functional alignment to ensure engineering initiatives are delivered on time with sufficient resources and with clear visibility of risks and dependencies.
The EPS acts as a force multiplier for Engineering Program Managers (EPMs) and technical teams by owning operational mechanisms maintaining execution discipline and enabling scalable repeatable program delivery.
Key job responsibilities
Support the EMS evaluation owner by scaling evaluation mechanisms across ATC functions
Coordinate across ATC functions and U.S. counterparts to deliver business and strategic reviews and monitor progress against goals and targets.
Drive alignment forums to identify and resolve cross-organizational risks or misalignment that could impact execution.
Support DOT Camera and Audi builds matrix by tracking materials and sample allocation.
Create and structure Bill of Materials (BOM) and communicate new part numbers to internal and external teams.
Write Engineering Change Orders (ECO) in Agile and manage changes to the BOMs.
Travel domestically and internationally to suppliers or CM sites as projects require.
- 3 years of program or project management experience
- Bachelors degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- 3 years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes project management and schedules
