Job Description
Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Engineer/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer is required for a leading global manufacturer.
The Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Engineer/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance fault-finding and breakdown work across a range of automated machinery and electrical systems.
The Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Engineer/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer will have proven electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment on products and systems such as gearboxes milling machines electric motors pneumatics hydraulics or similar industrial engineering products.

Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Engineer/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer Role:
- Provide mechanical and electrical repair service and maintenance on electromechanical equipment such as milling machines gearboxes plant machinery hydraulics pneumatics and more.
- Fault-finding and troubleshooting of factory machinery and equipment to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Install electromechanical / automation & control machinery into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
- Perform preventative maintenance checks and ensure accurate data logging
- Willingness to commute to the workshop based near Wolverhampton
Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Engineer/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
- Experience as a maintenance engineer service engineer manufacturing engineer electrical engineer automation engineer mechanical engineer electromechanical engineer within a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment.
- Will have proven electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment on products and systems such as gearboxes milling machines electric motors pneumatics hydraulics or similar industrial engineering products.
- NVQ Level 3 / HNC / City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
- Knowledge of Siemens S7 and Allen Bradley PLCs would be advantageous.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and work on own initiative
- Basic understanding of pneumatics hydraulics and welding techniques
- Commutable to Wolverhampton
