Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our team for an enthusiastic self-motivated person with GIS EO and Remote Sensing skills with Geospatial data analysis coding and management knowledge.

In this role you will work closely with all the team members supporting our projects programmes and developing our spatial analysis capabilities.

Your work will involve:

Spatial data analysis extensively with ESRI ArcGIS Pro along with development and automation of workflows using R/Python code and model builder. With a very good understanding of geospatial data you will be working with different types and formats such as file geodatabases geopackages and advanced feature editing tools.

Geospatial data management including data quality assurance leading metadata standards resolving issues. Creation and management of relational databases role profiles and access controls. A knowledge of Open data standards.

Using geoprocessing tools to perform spatial analysis of remote sensing data including Lidar aerial photography satellite and hyperspectral systems. Work with point cloud formats including classification creation of elevation surface models mosaic datasets and understanding use of optimal formats for performance and storage.

The team is moving to a Microsoft Azure Cloud environment this role will be expected to develop an extensive relevant knowledge.

Youll be able to demonstrate the ability to meet challenging deadlines and can provide technical training and support to fellow team members.
