Watson Candidate Assistant is here to answer questions about working at Dallas ISD.- Oversees the training and calibration efforts of all campus evaluators.
- Effectively supports and manages the Training & Calibration team within the Performance Management office.
- Designs and facilitates ongoing training opportunities to support inter-rater reliability among evaluators across all campuses.
- Devises strategies to improve the quality of training opportunities that strengthen calibrated practices across the district and develops systems to monitor these efforts.
- Leads coordination with School Leadership HCM and campuses to identify areas of support and directs training efforts among campus evaluators as needed.
- Facilitates ongoing TEI training for new teachers and administrators.
- Analyzes and monitors performance scores across campuses to direct ongoing professional development and training opportunities as appropriate.
- Leads coordination efforts with the Distinguished Teacher Review team to provide support as needed.
- Assists with managing the districts Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) program ensuring alignment compliance and accurate implementation of program components.
- Supports all Performance Management tools within Human Capital Management including systems processes and structures that promote effective evaluation and talent development practices.
- Aligns efforts of the Training & Calibration team to the district goal of improving teacher effectiveness on every campus.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university in a directly related field; Masters Degree from an accredited university preferred.
- 5 years of direct experience in Education or related experience.
- 10 years of direct experience in Education Leadership preferred.
- Solid knowledge of calibration practices by utilizing performance rubrics.
- Deep expertise of developmentally appropriate instructional strategies related to the unique learning needs of all students including those of special populations.
- Experience leading and supervising other professionals.
- Ability to proactively identify challenges and work to find solutions.
- Strong oral presentation training and facilitation skills appropriate for adult learner.
