Compensation: $70000$120000 (Based on Experience)
Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Technical Project Manager to work directly within our manufacturing shop driving execution of system enhancements feature requests integrations and production-impacting technology initiatives.
This is not an IT desk role.
This is a boots-on-the-floor execution role ensuring tech projects move forward efficiently clearly and without delay.
You will act as the central coordinator between Production Operations IT Software Development and Engineering. Your responsibility is simple: make sure nothing stalls nothing gets lost and nothing is left unclear.
We are looking for someone who gets things done someone persistent proactive and unwilling to accept vague answers or delays when production is impacted.
Key Responsibilities
Tech Project Execution
Own and track all shop-related tech projects feature requests system upgrades and bug fixes
Ensure production-impacting issues are addressed quickly and escalated appropriately
Drive timelines and follow-ups across cross-functional teams
Maintain clear documentation of requirements scope and status updates
Translate shop-floor needs into structured actionable requirements
Cross-Functional Coordination
Serve as the bridge between manufacturing teams and internal tech teams
Communicate technical updates in a way that production teams understand
Ensure development teams fully grasp operational requirements and constraints
Follow up persistently to ensure progress no dropped projects
Issue & Bug Management
Identify document and prioritize production-related system issues
Track bug resolution and verify fixes in real production environments
Ensure integrations between systems are functioning properly
Prevent recurring issues by identifying root causes
Shop-Floor Presence
Work directly inside the manufacturing environment
Communicate with operators supervisors and managers daily
Observe workflows firsthand to identify improvement opportunities
Ensure system adoption and proper usage across departments
The Ideal Candidate
Experience in manufacturing or production environments
Background in project coordination operations or systems implementation
Strong follow-through and execution mindset
Comfortable pushing for clarity and progress across teams
Highly organized with strong documentation skills
Clear confident communicator
Tech-savvy with ability to understand system workflows and integrations
Not intimidated by complexity or cross-team friction
