Job Summary
Job Title: Medior Automation Engineer
Work Location: Bengaluru (Hybrid)

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Medior Automation Engineer with handson experience in Cypress and TypeScript. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automation best practices solid communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams in an agile environment. This hybrid role is based in Bengaluru.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop enhance and maintain automation test scripts using Cypress with TypeScript.
- Participate in designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with QA development and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Execute automated and occasional manual test cases to ensure high-quality product releases.
- Debug issues analyze root causes and work closely with developers to resolve defects.
- Maintain documentation including test plans test cases and test execution reports.
- Support continuous integration and continuous testing through pipeline automation.
- Contribute to improving testing processes and best practices across the team.
Qualifications :
- 24 years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing.
- Strong proficiency with Cypress and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies SDLC and STLC.
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or built-in Cypress capabilities.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitHub Actions Azure DevOps etc.) is a plus.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate testing concepts clearly.
Good to Have
- Experience with other JavaScript/TypeScript-based automation tools (Playwright WebdriverIO etc.).
- Exposure to performance or security testing (optional).
- Basic understanding of SQL for backend validations.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
