We are now seeking a professional and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our friendly and experienced team and support our growing patient base.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Hygienist who is passionate about delivering outstanding preventive care and patient education within a mixed-practice setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out comprehensive oral health assessments
Provide high-quality dental hygiene treatments including scaling polishing and professional cleans
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
Work collaboratively with dentists and the wider practice team
Adhere to strict infection control protocols and safety standards
Operate and maintain dental equipment
Keep up to date with current dental hygiene practices and CPD requirements
About You
Diploma or Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution
Current GDC registration
Minimum 2 years experience as a Dental Hygienist
Confident in delivering a wide range of hygiene procedures
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Strong knowledge of infection control and compliance standards
Flexible approach to working hours including evenings or weekends where required
