Our client is looking for an Occupational Therapist who is motivated proactive and passionate about supporting Manchester residentsat the earliest possible opportunity.
Youll work with adults across the city delivering timely personcentred and strengthsbased interventions that promote independence safety and wellbeing at home. The focus is on empowering people to approach daily activities differently not relying on equipment unless absolutely necessary.
Your work will include:
- Completing holistic proportionate OT assessments
- Supporting individuals intoReablementwhere appropriate
- Providingtechnologyenabled care solutionsto enhance independence
- Offering practical advice adaptive techniques and functional strategies
- Helping citizens build community connections that support longterm resilience
- Ensuring people are linked to the right services when additional support is needed
Youll be part of thePrincipal Occupational Therapy Team reporting to the Early Intervention OT Team Manager.
What Youll Bring:
- Strong understanding offunction adaptive techniques Reablement equipment and adaptations and technologyenabled care
- Confidence delivering shortterm solutionfocused interventions
- Ability to work autonomously across a citywide service
- Excellent communication and problemsolving skills
- A commitment to early intervention and preventionbased practice
Requirements:
- HCPCregistered Occupational Therapist
- Car driver (citywide role)
- 35 hours per week MondayFriday (9:0016:30)
- Office presence required between community visits
- Some home working supported
