Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a highly experienced Senior Test Analyst specializing in CMS and FAS modules to ensure the quality reliability and performance of our software products. This role involves designing detailed test plans executing comprehensive testing activities mentoring junior team members and engaging with clients through walkthrough sessions. The Senior Test Analyst will also serve as a backup team lead supporting strategic quality assurance objectives while contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes.
Software Requirements
Required:
- Proficiency in testing CMS (Content Management Systems) and FAS (Financial Accounting Systems) modules
- Experience with test planning and execution tools and methodologies
Preferred:
- Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g. Selenium QTP)
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git SVN)
Overall Responsibilities
- Independently develop comprehensive test plans and execute detailed test cases for CMS and FAS modules.
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members to enhance their testing proficiency and knowledge.
- Conduct walk-through sessions with clients and internal teams to align testing objectives and deliverables.
- Act as a backup lead managing team activities reporting progress and ensuring project milestones are met.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders about testing progress issues and resolutions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending enhancements to testing methodologies tools and documentation.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance particularly involving CMS and FAS modules.

- Support continuous improvement through process reviews and adoption of new tools or best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE) or equivalent are a plus.
- Ongoing participation in professional development activities related to testing methodologies.
