Job Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Production Supervisor with a passion for Truck and Shovel Operations whilst maintaining safe production at Dawson Mine.
Reporting through to the Mining Superintendent you will demonstrate a drive for safety as well as strong interpersonal and leadership skills. As an experienced supervisor you will be responsible for managing and leading a large team of operators to ensure operational production standards are met.
You will effectively plan monitor and coordinate personnel equipment and resources to achieve Dawsons set targets and schedules. This role will be of interest to those who enjoy coaching and mentoring an established crew interesting investigative challenges and effectively working with other departments on site whilst maintaining strong relationships.
Qualifications :
Relevant skills knowledge and experience required for this role include:
- To be successful in the role you will have supervisor experience running a large team within an open cut mining operation.
- Demonstrated experience with Truck and Shovel operations and a working knowledge of relevant legislation.
- Hold the Supervisor & Risk Facilitator competencies (S1 2 3 & G2).
- OCE ticket is desirable but not mandatory.
- Trainer & Assessor certification is desirable.
