Job Summary

IMC is currently hiring a Cashier for our Patient Financial Services (PFS) department.The cashier is responsible for accepting and posting patient payments by walk-ins or through the mail. He or She will also assist customers with questions regarding their accounts. The cashier will balance daily receipts and prepare the bank deposit as well as record and balance petty cash. The remainder of his/her time will be spent assisting co-workers as directed.
WORK HOURS:
- 8:30 a.m. to5:00 p. m. Monday through Friday.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 2-3 years previous hospital Business Officeexperience preferred; any mail clerk experience also acceptable.
