Job Specific Information:
As part of our commitment to Operational Excellence we are looking for a curious and drivenData Analystto join our new Sustaining Engineering team. The team consists of several development engineers and complements our three other Engineering teams within Operations.
As the teams Data Analyst you will evaluate interpret and assess raw data from quality tests validation activities and other process maintenance efforts. You will play a key role in ensuring data integrity and supporting decision-making related to product performance and quality within our manufacturing and control processes.
The Engineering department is also responsible for Design Transfer ofproducts in development at R&D toOperations process development and validation of kit manufacturing processes global equipment management and business continuity for operational processes in Uppsala.
The position is based at our headquarters in Uppsala and reports to the Manager of Sustaining Engineering.
Main Responsibilities
Evaluate and interpret analytical dataand other laboratory results to assess process and product performance.
Approve or reject test results based on predefined quality criteria and initiate actions when necessary.
Documentandreportresultin accordance withinternal quality standards.
Collaborate with laboratory and production teams to ensure proper data flow andtimelyanalysis.
Support troubleshooting and investigations byprovidingdata-driven insights.
Participate in process maintenance activities by analyzing trendsidentifyingpotential issues and proposing corrective measures.
Contribute to improvement initiatives related to data management and analytical processes.
Workin accordance withthe companys quality system and relevant laboratory instructions.
Qualifications and Competencies
MSc or PhD in Analytical Chemistry orrelateddiscipline.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experiencefrom the Life science industry.
Knowledge and hands-on experience with a broad range of methods such as HPLC MS MALS spectrophotometry etc. and the ability to interpret data derived from these techniques.
Experience using R and/or Python to handle datasets and build data pipelines.
Strong skills in MS Office and data analysis tools such as Excel and other statistical software.
Full professionalproficiencyin English and Swedish
